Brief Breed Description:
True grit. True devotion. True love. These tributes are used often to describe the American Bulldog -- a hardy, athletic, all-purpose working dog. The
American Bulldog is a loving family companion, good with children and other pets, yet at the same time, fearlessly determined. It has been known to
display heroic acts of courage in protecting its master. The American Bulldog has also been used to hunt everything from squirrel to bear, and has
been trained to drive cattle and guard stock from predators. The American Bulldog should be evaluated as a working dog, and exaggerations or
faults should be penalized in proportion to how much they interfere with the dogs ability to work.

Mission Statement:
Our goal is to produce the best all around bulldog that we can. Pedigrees sell alot of mediocre dogs. Here at Olde Line Kennels we don't base our
breeding on pedigrees but on the attributes of our bulldogs. We have spent countless hours of research and travel trying to find the "best" bulldogs
that we can.  When I say "best" I mean the complete package intelligent, loving, protective, gentle, sound in temperament and form. The whole
bulldog body and soul. There is no other breed that is as tied to the American fiber as the AB. From the days of Old Judge tobacco to Petey of the
Lil' Rascals. This breed as evolved with us as a nation and just as with ourselves we cannot forget its roots. This is our mission to preserve the
characteristics that made this breed indispensable.

THIS MESSAGE IS FROM LORI HAAKER AT DREAM BULLDOG RANCH

I apologize if you are not a bulldogger friend, but I am trying to reach as many as possible. There were 70 American bulldogs rescued from starvation
at a puppy mill in Tx this week. 30 were already dead.

http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/metropolitan/5097350.html

The AB rescue has the go ahead to take the dogs, now the hard part!

I am trying to find some temporary homes for some of the dogs taken in the Picketts raid in Texas . Apparently from first hand accounts most of the
dogs were friendly and approachable, simply starved. I know many of you can’t take a dog personally but we will probably need some one to drive
and $ support to actually go get the dogs. I can lend my trailer, I am hoping to bring 6 dogs to FL. I need 4 people to take 1 dog apiece. You do not
have to keep the dogs forever, we will work to find them homes. Please let me know if you can help or know someone that might be interested in a
rescue. These dogs would all need to be spayed and neutered. Please email ASAP if you can help. I will be starting an ad campaign to find permanent
homes.

If you can’t participate check our site for links to aide these dogs or mail a check earmarked rescue to CFABC 6540 NE 25th Ave Ocala FL 34479

I will add your name to a permanent place of thanks on my website with updates on the rescue mission. We are not non-profit so I can’t give you a
tax deduction. Thank you, Lori Haaker Pres. Central Florida American Bulldog Club
